The rest of Wyoming (after yellowstone) was like someone picked us up and dropped us back at the beginning of Idaho again. Except they replaced the fields with mountains.

That will make little sense unless you’ve driven through both.

The day wasn’t without excitement though. Somewhere on one of those beautiful plateaus, I really thought my transmission was going. I just had it resealed and flushed, so mt worst case scenario thinking took over. Middle of Wyoming, no cell reception and a blown transmission. Another great story to tell… Alas it seems to have just been my lil’ 4 cylinder struggling mightily with the looooong inclines.
